For the past five years my primary focus has been building a multi-six figure business and raising my three children.
As a busy professional and entrepreneur, I could feel myself becoming more and more unhappy.
Then the pandemic of 2020 hit.
Luckily I found a self-care practice that has been a lifesaver for me in helping to deal with the stresses of life especially during the pandemic.
As women we are expected to perform at Superwoman levels. Oftentimes, thats a pressure we put on ourselves, but we aren't taught how to give ourselves a strategy for helping to sustain our extremely high levels of performance and stress.
We aren't taught how to RELAX.
We aren't shown how to give ourselves PERMISSION to spend time caring for the most important person, ourself.
Society tells us that self-care is:

I'm here to be an advocate for self-care for the stressed out modern woman.
My interests include developing eco-friendly, cost-effective strategies that can be easily integrated into your lifestyle.
Here, I'll be sharing my self-care tips and tools and giving you a glimpse into how these practices have impacted my life.
My many hobbies include spending time with my husband and three children, meditation and consciousness, gardening, beekeeping and raising chickens on our property in Arkansas and exploring other cultures. I also enjoy reading personal development books, listening to business podcasts and learning about investing and personal finance.
